FisheRhodes' 2011 in Review

It's good to remember.

-Awake New Years Day in Nazareth to someone blowing a shofar from the inn balcony next door
-Meet Taylor Stutzman and thenceforth play lots of basketball with him and friendly Arabs
-Hike in Costume from Nazareth to the Sea of Galilee
-Visit our sister Laura in Adana, Turkey and Betsy's friend Kendra
-Fun visit from Betsy's parents, travel all around Palestine/Israel/Golan
-Celebrate 2 years of marriage to my incredible wife!
-In the Nazareth Village Easter play, Betsy plays one of the Marys and Philip plays Judas, Dead Jesus, and the Angel at the tomb
-Celebrate Easter at the Sea of Galilee with believers, lovely passover meal with same, then attended a packed Catholic Easter service
-Graduate class sailing the Mediterranean, exploring Greece and Turkey, Roman ruins
-Participate in the wheat harvest at Nazareth Village
-Attend an Arab Christian wedding and the Groom's Party with friends Gosayna and Habib
-Dear friends Jason and Jenny visit and explore with us; first time in the desert, Hezekiah's Tunnel, etc.
-Goodbyes in Nazareth
-Incredible visit with C armen and J ason family in Mo ro cco
-Reconnecting with Rhodes' and church friends in Harrisonburg
-Re-entry retreat in PA
-Reconnecting with Fisher family (or Fisherfolk) in Ohio
-I love the beach!! at Rodanthe with Martin and Sylvia family, Brian and Rachel
-Dietrich and Abigail get married
-Betsy begins Linguistics degree at George Mason in DC
-Philip begins as Executive Director at Our Community Place
-Attend Nicolas and Rachel Sarah's wedding
-Celebrate Atticus' birth with Anita and David
-We're going to have a baby! In utero name is Kemp.
-Thanksgiving at Our Community Place and awesome visit from Kjersti (Seattle); visit Fisherfolk and Imbodens on the weekend.
-We hear our baby's fast little heart for the first time!
-Celebrate the birth of Isaac and Elijah with C armen and J ason
-Betsy successfully completes semester one of grad school!
-Christmas with Rhodes family, fun sleepover at Martin and Sylvia's
-Christmas with Fisherfolk and Kemptons in Ohio

God has been faithful! All praise to Him!
