What does one do when a double rainbow hangs over one's roof, growing brighter and brighter...and the one sharing one's roof is standing beside one in the spitting rain.
Thank God for promises kept.

One day we went to Baltimore by way of camping and a random library playground in the mountains.

Along the way we hiked a high mountain, which was fun, but the tree was almost more so.

While hiking along we also saw some happy faces we both agreed we enjoyed almost as much as the view.

In the end the view, too, was worth the muggy summer day especially after a snack of wild blueberries along the way.

Another time during the summer, we went on a trip to a sunny land. Strange and wonderful people shared our adventure. You can see some of them here.

During said sunny land time we began to change in appearance, more from sun than coffee Philip is sure but I have my doubts (massive amounts of both were consumed along the way).
Here is one of the fabulous beings with whom we found companionship.
In the end we began to look like each other from excessive study of one another.

The end of all these adventures answers no questions really, but only begs for more questions and more adventures.

How exactly does one stand beside one on a roof? :) Looks like a great end to the summer. I miss you two! Carmen
