We've had this February report in our edit category, forgetting to send it. So here it is late, soon to be updated in our March report. Much love to all you great supporters!
-Philip and Betsy
------
March is upon us! But February was good. We hurtled around the race track, leaping over things as we came to them, enjoying the race for the most part, and enjoying the memory as much if not more! Over Valentine's Day we were walking from Nazareth to Capernaum on the JT wearing first-century clothes, eating first-century foods. We caught a tail of rainy winter but enjoyed the lovely way. We continue to process this journey. The last days of the month found us flying to Adana, Turkey to visit Laura and those who surround her. We had such a lovely time! Around the edges we worked at NV: many more tours which we are enjoying so much, spring weather all around, helping Mary in the kitchen to prepare and clean up after our first-century meals (Betsy especially loves to work with Mary, and Mary loves it too:), creating various fliers, and packaging oil lamps. Philip is starting to play more basketball with local guys and ex-pats. We continue to be swamped with invitations for meals, coffee, etc from many people.
In a couple days we will welcome Rob and Bethany Fisher for a visit. We are so looking forward to this highlight and to the joy and travels it will bring!
Thanks to God for:
-safe travels
-good family
-dear friends when family is far away
-basketball
-spring flowers and spring smells
-time to know God
We ask for:
-deeper relationships, especially with those with whom we live and work
-a greater passion for prayer
-positive outlooks
-a constant openness to share (whatever we have to give)
