First Hike

One Sunday in September, we drove to one of our favorite place: the Blue Ridge Parkway.  When we got to a good parking space near a hike, Philip took a nap and Soren took a snack.  After awhile we got out, realized our lights were still on and our battery dead.  Luckily, some friendly people drove in and gave us a jump.  After changing a diaper or two, eating a snack or two, we finally took a hike on that perfect day.  The weather was gorgeous.  We hiked through a really peaceful woods until we stopped at two smallish waterfalls.  Soren was a little adventurer although I think we'll need to keep trying to impress on him how much fun hikes really are!
